Terms and Conditions

Website and service terms.

These terms explain the conditions for using this website and engaging Auto Advocate Australia for car sourcing and related support services.

Last updated: 2 June 2026. This template is general information only and should be reviewed by a qualified Australian lawyer before you rely on it as final legal terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website, submitting an enquiry or engaging with Auto Advocate Australia, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the website or services.

2. Our role

Auto Advocate Australia provides car sourcing, search, comparison, negotiation and coordination support. We may help you identify suitable vehicles, communicate with dealers or suppliers, compare offers and coordinate next steps.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we are not a dealership, manufacturer, lender, insurer, tax adviser, legal adviser, financial adviser, salary packaging provider or vehicle inspector.

3. Enquiries and availability

Any vehicle availability, pricing, estimated discount, finance estimate, delivery timing or saving shown on the website is indicative only. It may change without notice based on dealer stock, manufacturer pricing, market conditions, your location and third-party decisions.

4. No guaranteed outcome

We work to source and negotiate competitive options for customers, but we do not guarantee that a particular vehicle, price, saving, delivery timeframe, finance approval or lease outcome will be available.

5. Finance and novated lease estimates

Any finance or novated lease calculator on this website is provided for general budgeting only. It is not a quote, approval, tax advice, financial advice or salary packaging advice. Actual repayments and savings may vary based on salary, tax position, employer participation, lender terms, vehicle type, running costs, residual value, FBT treatment and other factors.

You should obtain advice from a licensed finance provider, salary packaging provider, accountant or tax adviser before making a finance or novated lease decision.

6. Third-party dealers and providers

Vehicles, finance, inspections, delivery and related products may be supplied by independent third parties. We are not responsible for third-party stock, representations, warranties, finance approval, delivery delays, defects or service failures, except to the extent required by law.

7. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information, checking all vehicle details before purchase, reading dealer or finance documents, confirming final pricing and ensuring the vehicle suits your needs before entering into any agreement.

8. Fees and payments

Any fees, if applicable, will be explained to you before you agree to proceed. We will not charge a fee unless you have agreed to it. Third-party payments, deposits, dealer charges, government charges, delivery fees, finance costs, insurance and registration costs may be separate and payable directly to the relevant provider.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Where our services are subject to consumer guarantees, we will provide remedies required by law.

10. Website content

We try to keep website information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current or error-free. We may change website content, services and these terms at any time.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information according to our Privacy Policy. By submitting an enquiry, you consent to us using your information to respond and provide car sourcing support.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss arising from website use, unavailable vehicles, third-party actions, finance decisions, delivery delays or decisions made based on indicative estimates.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which Auto Advocate Australia operates, unless another jurisdiction is required by law.
